Have you found your Harvest?
It’s 4 a.m in the morning …
Joven continues to toil and work through the night to rush through his proposal, one that is a chance in his lifetime to prove himself and get his long awaited promotion. He believes that this chance was given by God and he gave in his all to make sure that it was perfect.
“Family … they can wait, Friends … they can wait too. Nothing is too important than the chance God has given me.”
2 months down the road, Joven had been up every night just to perfect his work and it turned out to be a great success. The months of hard work seem so worth it as he could just see himself getting that opening of the assistance manager’s post.
On the day of the announcement, his boss, announced that Adrian, his supervisor who always did nothing, was picked instead. It was later found out by Joven that his proposal was submitted under Adrian’s name, and that he actually lied and changed Joven’s name.
Joven was devastated to see all his hard work going to anther person, but all he could do was to just sit and watch Adrian celebrate his new position with joy.

On the other end of the street, there lies a faint sound of a girl sobbing. She buried herself in her pillow and tears flow down her cheeks.
“I have put in so much effort in my project.”
“ I was the only one who did the work!”
“ Why did they have to gang up against me and say that I didn’t do anything!!. It’s not fair!!!”
“ I did so much yet I was the only one who failed the project”
“It has happened so many times! I’ve also worked hard and never stop trying! Why?! Why did God do this to me”
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Can you see what do the girl and Joven have in common?
They have both put in lots of effort into their work and their rewards just never seen to belong to them. It was taken, it was stolen and nothing was given to them.
What they sow, they did not reap.
It was given to others.
To the others who did nothing.
Unfair?
To answer this question, let’s look at someone in the bible who actually had to go through this situation many times where people reaped his harvest and he was chased out of his own land without a cent.
This man is Isaac.
Let’s see what happened to him and what we can learn from this great man of God.
Genesis 26 : 12 – 29
12 Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD blessed him.
13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.
14 He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him.
15 So all the wells that his father's servants had dug in the time of his father Abraham, the Philistines stopped up, filling them with earth.
16 Then Abimelech said to Isaac, "Move away from us; you have become too powerful for us."
17 So Isaac moved away from there and encamped in the Valley of Gerar and settled there.
18 Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died, and he gave them the same names his father had given them.
19 Isaac's servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there.
20 But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac's herdsmen and said, "The water is ours!" So he named the well Esek, [b] because they disputed with him.
21 Then they dug another well, but they quarreled over that one also; so he named it Sitnah. [c]
22 He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, [d] saying, "Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land."
23 From there he went up to Beersheba.
24 That night the LORD appeared to him and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham."
25 Isaac built an altar there and called on the name of the LORD. There he pitched his tent, and there his servants dug a well.
26 Meanwhile, Abimelech had come to him from Gerar, with Ahuzzath his personal adviser and Phicol the commander of his forces.
27 Isaac asked them, "Why have you come to me, since you were hostile to me and sent me away?"
28 They answered, "We saw clearly that the LORD was with you; so we said, 'There ought to be a sworn agreement between us'-between us and you. Let us make a treaty with you
29 that you will do us no harm, just as we did not molest you but always treated you well and sent you away in peace. And now you are blessed by the LORD."
So in short, Isaac’s favour was being envied by the others and everytime he was about to reap his harvest, someone will be there to take it away from him. But he never gave up, he just continued to search different areas with his servant and continued digging. Everytime he was forced out of the place, he just believed in God and true enough, he prospered anywhere he went.
The revelation I had while listening to this story was that, many a times we will be faced with situation where something or someone who we have been working so hard for, will just be taken right in front of our eyes, just before you are going to reap the harvest.
What I saw from Isaac was so encouraging. The faith he has that never makes him give up. How many times can we actually put in effort just to receive nothing at the end of the day? But it is then with the conviction that you are the one who prospers things, not places, not buildings, not companies and not even other people, are the reasons why you will receive a harvest.
God will always give us opportunities, so many and so great that we can’t imagine. When trials and obstacles befalls us, we should be like Isaac and be in Faith. Be in Faith that you are the one who PROSPERs the place and not the place which prospers you. It is Jesus and Jesus is in YOU!
At the last part of the verse, Isaac was called back to where he belonged, where all his riches lies. It was all because that the King realized that Isaac was the one whom God found Favour with, the one who prospered the land. So have the knowing that if God sets you up in a place, no matter what may happen, He will bring you back, with even more glory and Favour, not just to Him, but to people of the World too.
How lovely isn’t it? Companies may change, job positions may be shifted, but God’s love and blessing of prospering you will never. It is in You and nothing you do will ever change that or make it leave you.
God said this to us ...
"You will drink from wells that you did not dig"
He is a well did we did not dig and yet we are "harvesting" from Him. These wells which he gives may be just anything around you, whether it's from work or daily life, have the knowing that He provides all sorts of well for you to drink from. But we should not forget that once you drink from the ultimate well (Jesus), then the rest will just fall into place and flow into your life.
So the next time you find your harvest taken away, be in Faith and hope and know that you will prosper more ABUNDANTLY and He will bring you to where He wants to.
Just sit down, relax and watch the Lord grow the Harvest, just for you.
Shalom!

Failing to let go … to Fail
- Post by Uberbeloved #2, Jin –
“Haiyo, he failed again. So useless”
“hmm … there may be a chance where I might fail, better have a backup plan”
“I told myself that there are no other routes for me to go, so I CANT FAIL!”
“If I fail, then how can I hold my head up again?”
Sounds familiar? It all boils down to one word.
Failure.
A simple 7 letter word, yet it brings tremendous pressure to anyone’s heart when the word is uttered.
It destroys many people’s hopes and dreams, preventing them from having their leap of Faith. Or it could be that one failure … and you just stop trying.
Every single day we are bogged down by different issues, trails. Day in, day out, we toil and live through our days. We get drained, get tired or even get irritated. It is never ending but yet it is through all these that our Daddy Jesus’s Love will be able shine through and knowing that He will bring you through no matter what may arise. If you cant see him in your everyday, then who can you hold on to? Who can you lean on? If you see the person which you depend on as a well which you draw from, then He is one well that never dries up.
John 4:14
but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
See! Any water which the Lord gives you will make you never thirst again. And so you may ask how do one person “drink from God?” or how to we “see him”? As what everyone may say, all you need is a little more Faith.
Hmm, some may find that hard, saying “I’ve so much problems and crazy things happening around me, how to have Faith? Have Faith on what?”
For me, I will always find a truth close to my heart or a revelation to hold on to. I was just talking to Chelle that day and something she said turned into a revelation, a truth in my heart.
I realized one right, one precious right which we, all children in Christ, is entitled to.
“The right to Fail”
Yes, the right to fail. I think we should all realize that we are the only ones with the Saviour, who allows us to fail. He sees all our weaknesses; he knows all our wrong doings or even our evil thoughts. But did He condemn us? No, on the contrary, that was the very reason why He came to die for us. Yes, He died for all our failures. Our failures yesterday, today, and forever. The sorry you forgot to say, the hurt which you caused your parents, the beating you gave your children when you lost your temper, the day which you lost your job, the day you abort your child. All these are considered failures by people of the world. The Failure to control, failure to plan, failure to provide. But isn’t it because we know that we will fail that we need Jesus? If we are so perfect, do you think that we will need God?
So with the right to Fail. I say let go of your failures, let go of all your worries and most of all, let Go and let God.
Failure in the world doesn’t mean that you are a failure in His eyes. Sometime we have to see that it is through His wisdom that things happen and you will prosper in Him.
Do not let your past failures judge you, neither let it hold you back. Where Failure abound, Grace greatly abounds! Know that it’s because we are weak so that He can make us strong. Humble yourself in front of Him and you will realize that it is only when you admit that you will fail, then He can come in and show his Love.
Let not another failure bring you down but see it as a channel for God to show you His boundless and amazing Love.
To my uberbeloved friends who are on their way to a Blessed and Favoured Australia Trip. May you rest in His Love and know that He will always be next to you, pampering you, favouring you and Loving you! =)
I shall end this post with a phrase which I chance upon.
“In Your Love, my Salvation Lies”.
Be Blessed, Be Loved and Be Conquerors of Failures!

Are we still raising our hands to ask for what we want?
Hey hey hey,
A new uberbeloved blogger is in town to share his revelation, for this blog belongs to all uberbeloveds.
A contribution to my dearest sister in Heaven!
- Jin -
Well ... the title “raising up your hands and ask”. How easy is that action and how common is that action among people who are filled with questions or requires someone else’s assistance. Since young, we were educated with the notion of “put up your hands first before you ask a question!” or “raise your hands if you need help”
But slowly, as we grow up, we tend to forget that habit or should I say, why bother to raise my hands and wait for someone to help me when I can do it myself? People nowadays always believe that because of the fact that we are “older” now or more ”matured” now, therefore it is only right to be handling out own problems. True? I don’t think so. Name me one person who doesn’t need a helping hand from time to time? Maybe God, but are we? No. Therefore shouldn’t we learn how to humble ourselves and not put it all on our little shoulders?
What I am trying to bring up here is that we tend to be led by our own “wisdom” and “ego” and give up the right to “raise hands” to “ask”. I don’t know whether it’s because we don’t believe that there can be help anymore, we are simply too lazy or we don’t like to show others that we are “weak”.
Well, I was serving in Children’s Church today and a simple revelation came to me. We were handling out snacks and the teacher in charged just announced to the rowdy children: “Children! Raise your hands and wait for the Teachers to serve you. They’ll know what you want when they see your hands”. Hand went around the room and truly, every single one of the child was served, maybe not all at the same time, some got it earlier while some took some time before getting what they want, but they all did.
Something in my heart spoke and it came to be that God has always told us to be “child-like”, like little children. A simple action such as raising up a hand has become so distant to us. Why? Is it because we can get all our problems solved now that we are older? Or is it because we feel ashamed that we need to raise our hands for help? Well, a simple reason could be that maybe we just don’t have that much Faith that our problems will be answered. Maybe we are just afraid of the disappointment of not getting what we ask for.
But didn’t Jesus promised that we just need to have Faith the size of a mustered seed? (O you of little Faith) and He will take care of the rest?
Well, GOOD NEWS for you!!! He has given us such a precious gift. The gift of ---------- raising hands, and all will be handled by him Isn’t that a precious gift?
He didn’t even ask for a lot from you. He just needs you to throw your hands up in the air and go in Faith. And I was so touched by the fact that you know, children will have Faith and know that they will get want they ask for? If they can have faith in Man, how much more would they be trusting the Almighty God?
I realized that He was giving me a lesson in a place where I should be the one teaching. Amazing isn’t it? So for those who might chance upon this, I trust that you have been blessed and remember
- for all things in life, big or small just cast it all to him
- raise your hands and know that He can supply your request, and more abundantly
- just be like a child and know that He will see, hear and care for you no matter how long it will take (He knows the best times to help you)
So happy RAISING! And rise above all Troubles! AMEN! =)
Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
Luke 11:10
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
